Marcy Burns American Indian Arts is known nationally as one of the premier basketry dealers. We have an extensive and ever-changing inventory of baskets, with a wide variety of prices and types. We value the aesthetics, quality, and condition of each item we sell and we strive to offer the finest of kind within any given price category. The baskets generally date 1880s to the 1930s.

SOUTHWESTERN (Arizona, New Mexico) baskets from the Apache, the Akimel O’Odham (Pima), the Havasupai, and the Paiute.

GREAT BASIN (Nevada, Eastern California, Utah) baskets from the Chemehuevi, the Washo, and the Panamint.

CALIFORNIAN baskets from the Mission, Kawaiisu, Tubatulabal, Yokuts, Pomo, Mono (Monache), Mono Paiute, Maidu, Miwok, Hupa, Yurok, Karok.

PLATEAU (Washington State, Idaho, Oregon) baskets from the Nez Perces and the Yakima, Skokomish, Thompson River tribes, Wasco.

NORTHWEST COAST baskets from the Tlingit, Haida, Nootka (Nuu-chah-nulth)/Makah, and the Aleut.

SOUTHEASTERN baskets from the Chemehuevi and Cherokee.
