Dolls were made for native children's play as well as for trade during the early Reservation era. This Sioux (Lakota) doll is wearing a beautiful traditional dress and traditional leggings and moccasins. She has seed beads for facial features.

Tall dolls like this are particularly desirable. She is in original, unrestored condition.
