This particular turquoise stone is really interesting, with what appears to be mother-of-pearl in the stone.
The Navajo did not begin adding tones to their jewelry until approximately 1900. The artist was usually working in a relatively isolated location, using hand-made tools. He fired over a fire of his own making rather than a formal kiln like is available in today's world.
*Rings such as this can usually be sized to fit. Please contact our gallery to discuss this further.
