This bracelet is a wonderful example of Navajo artistry and skill. The maker has used sheet coin silver and is applying design influences from earlier Navajo jewelry.
The bracelet was made during a period of transition, when the Navajo were refining their silver techniques and their jewelry was beginning to be marketed by early commercial entrepreneurs.
