This design (known as the pre-Columbian double-swirl design) is fairly rare, most especially in this length and quality. The design is featured in Morrill’s Willliam Spratling and the Mexican Silver Renaissance Fig. 249.
We are excited to have the opportunity to sell this belt/necklace. The piece has fine workmanship
as well as desirable weight and age.
