Preston Duwyenie (Lomaiquilvaa [Carried In Beauty]) is a Hopi artist who has received many awards in major Indian Market competitions, including the Colorado Indian Market in Denver and The Heard Museum Guild Indian Fair and Market in Phoenix. Beginning in the 1980s, Preston began using micaceous clays and sometimes sterling silver in his pots.

In this miniature pot, Preston has created a very organic and compelling elongated jar. There is something ethereal about this pot...it is beautiful.
