The ADA Historic Deerfield Antiques show is owned by the ADA (Antique Dealers of America), a highly renowned organization of dealers specializing in American antiques. Membership is composed of professional antiques dealers who are "dedicated to integrity, honesty and ethical conduct in the antiques trade". These dealers have been invited to membership in the organization by their peers. This is a vetted show and offers the collector an opportunity to view and purchase high-quality and fully represented antiques at all price ranges, giving both the beginning and the advanced collector opportunities to own wonderful material as well as learn about a diverse group of offerings. All dealers offer warranties of their inventory.

The Delaware Antiques Show is "one of the nation's most highly acclaimed and anticipated antiques shows". The Maine Antiques Digest has said that "savvy collectors know that the Delaware Antiques Show is the place to buy antiques". This is one of the oldest and finest shows in America (it celebrates its 45th anniversary this year). Winterthur Museum's staff help vet the show and give tours of the show in order to help educate those interested in American antiques.
