According to Billie Hougart, "Artemio Navarrete was the master silversmith from Iguala who moved to Taxco to help William Spratling launch Taller de Las Delicias in 1931. He taught and supervised may of Spratling's artists who later established their own successful careers". [The Little Book of MEXICAN SILVER TRADE and HALLMARKS, New Revised Edition, 2006, p.126].

Jewelry made by Navarrete IS rarely found. We are delighted to have this pin to offer for sale.
