This early Navajo bracelet features 4 large oval stones of Kings Manassa turquoise, which has been long celebrated for its green/blue turquoise. Made out of ingot or coin silver, this bracelet has the iconic features of a Navajo bracelet made in the 1920s.  Kings Manassa turquoise is not currently being mined and it is fairly rare.

All the measurements given below are taken on the inside of the bracelet so that the way it would fit on the wrist is more apparent.

*TO FIND YOUR BRACELET SIZE: Using a flexible tape measure or strip of paper, measure your wrist just below the bone (about where you would wear your bracelet). If you want the bracelet to fit tightly, add circa 1/4-1/2” to that measurement. If it you want it looser, add a bit more. Experiment to see what would feel comfortable. If these directions confuse you, please contact me and I will email you photos of a bracelet being measured.
