This pair of early Cheyenne moccasins immediately caught my eye because of their sheer beauty. The seed beads are early, the moccasins are sinew sewn, the paint is desirable and condition is excellent. Stitching is done using the lazy stitch technique.

The prominent design of the beadwork most likely refers to the Four Directions, which is often referred to by Northern Plains tribes.
