Mida Tafoya is a potter from Santa Clara Pueblo. She comes from an illustrious Santa Clara family, descending as the daughter of Christina Naranjo and the niece of Margaret Tafoya and Camilio Tafoya. Her grandparents were Jose Geronimo and Sara Fine Tafoya.
She began making pottery in 1945
